Rachel Fried
Council
Milltown
How would you describe your candidacy and vision for the future?
My focus starts with community — but it doesn't end there. I want neighbors to feel connected, and I'm building that same connection with our neighboring towns, Middlesex County, and our state-level representatives. These relationships turn into shared solutions, shared resources, and shared funding that no single town can pull off on its own.
What do you want people to know about you?
I didn't set out to run for council, but when I commit to something, I do it for real. I also believe in asking "is there a different way we could approach this?" I'm collaborative to the core. I want to work with everyone, including people who see things differently, because the best ideas come from people talking to each other. I believe Milltown is a really special place, and with the way New Brunswick is growing, we have an awesome opportunity to become the walkable borough/ town next to New Brunswick.
