She earned her bachelor's degree in Accounting and a master's in Management Science from St. John's University.

With more than 30 years of experience in financial services, she possesses extensive expertise in both regional and global technology operations. She excels at building effective teams, nurturing strong stakeholder relationships, and ensuring project success. Her professional background includes managing operations for prominent banks, trust companies and investment management firms, such as Citibank and Bessemer Trust, as well as a distinguished record in the nonprofit sector with organizations like NJ Rise, and Chambers of Commerce.
Actively engaged in her community, Monica has served on nonprofit boards and political organizations across New Jersey and New York. Monica is a County Committee Member in Monroe. Now semi-retired, she dedicates her time to consulting in small business marketing and project management while continuing her extensive volunteer efforts, particularly with the Monroe Democrats and the Middlesex County Federation of Democratic Women.
